The Grim Altar
Few are the men who have crossed swords with Bran Mak Morn and lived to tell of it. Fewer still are those who put fear in his heart. But Commander Drusus, with his unbreakable hide and uncanny talents, remains a unique foe–one Bran must best if he is to keep the dogs of war from his borders.
Old Gonar, Bran’s trusted seer, has divined the source of the commander’s sorcery. At first, he assumed it an enchantment of Drusus’ famed armor - a relic pilfered
from the tome of a Spartan king. Now, with the moon at its zenith, the old sorcerer’s blood magic grows potent, revealing to him a much older source of power: the Grim Altar. Bound to this relic, Commander Drusus remains invincible. If Bran hopes to stop the encroaching Roman forces, he must smash the altar, rendering his foe vulnerable to sword strokes.
Fortunately, Bran has uncanny forces of his own: the dreaded Worms of the Earth.
Objective
If the Heroes kill Drusus, the Heroes win. If all the Heroes are killed, the scenario ends in defeat.
