The craftsmen of Nemedia are famed for being master leatherworkers. Their armour is as strong as it is light, and sells for the highest prices around the world. These exceptional qualities are made possible by a rare and precious raw material: the skin of the renowned Red River crocodile.
In the creatures’ native region, tanners battle each other to lay their hands on the finest skins. Some have even hired mercenaries to crush their competitors and secure a monopoly on this lucrative yet perilous trade.
But in the jungle, the greatest threat is not always who you might think...
When there are no Crocodiles left on the board, or there are no Hide tokens left next to the board.

The player activates their Leader and gains 2 reinforcement points (the reinforcement areas are the same for both players). Then, they must use the following Special Rule. Hide and skin: The player takes a Crocodile miniature from the Reserve and adds it to one of the Deep Water areas of the board. |
Game Board Rules: Standard game board rules apply.
Setup: Take 7 Chest tokens
numbered “1” and 4 Chest tokens
numbered “2” and place them next
to the board. They represent the Crocodile skins.
Then, take 2 table tokens and place them as indicated by the setup diagram. They represent the tanning workshops. Finally, place the Crocodiles miniatures as indicated by the setup diagram and their tile between the two players.
Crocodiles: Before their Activation phase, a player must activate a Crocodile without spending any gem. They must perform a Move action towards the nearest unit (whatever their side) then perform a Melee Attack against that unit, if possible. Benefits cannot be used for the Crocodiles.
Skin a Crocodile: When a Crocodile is killed, its miniature is placed in the Reserve, next to their tile. Then the player who killed the Crocodile draws a Hide token from those available next to the board without looking at its value. If the Crocodile was killed with a Melee Attack, the token is placed on the base of the unit that killed it. If the Crocodile was killed with a Ranged Attack, the token is placed in the area where the Crocodile was.
When a unit with a Hide token on its base is killed, the token is dropped in their area.
Pick up a hide: A unit in the same area as a Hide token may pick it up by spending a movement point. The token is placed on the unit’s base without looking at its value. The Movement Benefit can be used.
Tan a hide: A unit with a Hide token on its base and in an area with a tanning workshop may replace their Attack to tan the hide.
The player controlling that unit flips the Hide token to reveal its value and places it next to their Book of Skelos.
Its value is added to the value of tanned hides the player has.
