As part of its continuing expansionist campaign, the empire of Aquilonia is attempting to colonize Cimmeria. From their fortress in Venarium, the invaders are launching bloody-thirsty raids, terrorizing the surrounding villages, massacring any who dare resist, and seizing control of the land.
The fierce Cimmerians have responded by launching courageous assaults on the fortress, but time and time again their attempts have been thwarted by the Aquilonians’ impressive defensive arsenal. Unable to gain any further ground, they are now faced with a single solution: They must send their best fighters to infiltrate the stronghold, destroy the stockpiles of weapons, and give the Cimmerian warriors a chance to tear down this otherwise invincible outpost.
In the dead of night, Conan and Valeria slip through the fortress’s defenses to carry out their mission.

Setup: The Overlord takes 4 Chest tokensThen the Overlord takes Zaporavo’s tile and places it next to their Book of Skelos. His miniature is placed as indicated on the setup diagram.
Finally, the Overlord takes 4 generic tokens numbered “3”,
“4”, “5”, and “6”, and places them as they wish face down in the indicated areas. They represent the weapons caches the
Heroes try to destroy.
Zaporavo: At the end of their activation, the Overlord may spend 1
to activate Zaporavo. Move his miniature up to 2 areas without
hindering, and perform a Melee Attack if possible. Benefits can’t be used for Zaporavo.
Destroy a weapons cache: A Hero in an area with a weapons cache token may flip it faceup. Its number indicates its structure points. To destroy a weapons cache, a Hero must perform a Melee Attack and roll at least as many successes as its structure points. If successful, the weapons cache is destroyed and the token is removed from the game.
A Security token in an area with a weapons cache adds its value to the structure points of the weapons cache.
The cover of night: Until the end of round 3, Ranged Attacks can only target units in an adjacent area.
